What Velvet is

Velvet is a discovery and hiring platform that connects brands with creators who work in or alongside the adult industry. Velvet itself hosts no explicit content: profiles carry stats, bios and links. Where a creator links to an adult platform, that link is clearly marked 18+ and leads off-site.

Who can use it

• Everyone on Velvet — creators, brand users, and visitors — must be 18 or older (or the age of majority in their jurisdiction).
• Creators must own or control the accounts they connect. Verification checks stats against the platforms' own public records.
• Brands must represent real businesses and use creator contact data solely for the collaborations arranged here.

What's not allowed

• Explicit imagery anywhere on Velvet — profile photos and content previews must be safe-for-work.
• Any content involving or sexualising minors — zero tolerance; accounts removed and reported.
• Content or offers involving non-consensual material, trafficking, or illegal services.
• Misrepresented stats, purchased followers presented as organic, or impersonation of another creator.
• Scraping, harvesting, or reselling of the data on this platform.

Enforcement & contact

Violations lead to content removal, account suspension, or a permanent ban, at our discretion. To report a profile or content, or to appeal a decision, contact the Velvet team — every report is reviewed by a human.
