What we collect

  • Account information — name/stage name, email, and the profile details you enter at signup.
  • Connected-platform statistics — when a creator connects a social account (YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, or an adult-platform profile link), we fetch that account's public/consented statistics (follower counts, view counts, engagement) via the platform's official API, and store access tokens solely to refresh those statistics.
  • Usage data — standard logs needed to run and secure the service.

What we don't do

  • We do not sell personal data.
  • We do not access data about anyone other than the authenticated account holder.
  • We do not post to, message from, or modify any connected account.
  • We host no explicit content.

Third-party platforms

Velvet uses YouTube API Services — by connecting a YouTube channel you also agree to the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy. Instagram/Facebook connections use the Meta Graph API under Meta's Platform Terms; TikTok connections use TikTok for Developers under TikTok's terms. Each platform's own privacy controls also apply to your data on that platform.

Data deletion & disconnecting

  • Disconnect a platform: contact us or use your profile settings — we delete the stored access token immediately and stop all fetching for that account. You can also revoke Velvet's access from the platform's own security settings (Google, Meta, or TikTok), which invalidates our token at the source.
  • Delete your account and data: email andrew@archernagle.com from your account email with the subject "Delete my data". We remove your profile, statistics history, and tokens within 30 days and confirm by reply.

Storage & retention

Data is stored with our hosting providers (Vercel, Neon — US region). Statistics history is retained while your profile is active so growth charts work; tokens are retained only while a connection is active.
